Here are is a basic guide for those who are not sure where to start.

• First, choose your name, password, vocation, and sex.
• All four of the above can be changed during the game, but name, vocation, and sex changes cost a lot of in-game money.

• Different sexes have different appearances
• There are several vocations that are only available to one sex or the other:
  • Male: Troubadour, BlackMage, Paladin, DarkMage, and Soldier
  • Female: Dancer, WhiteMage, Angel, Devil, and FallenAngel

• In this game, your role will change greatly depending on your vocation, so choose carefully.
• However, if your vocation is level 20 or higher, it's possible to change to a different vocation.

Playing solo? Grouping up to play as a party? Playing as a tank? Helping out as a healer? Wiping out enemies with powerful magic? Choose a vocation that suits you. For more information, see vocation types.

• After completing your player registration, the story begins in the Exchange Plaza.

Just as you would use any other type of chat, simply type into the input box and press the "Speak" button. If an action word is included, an action will occur; the available actions are shown below the input box, like "@Move".

As an example, type "@Speak" into the input box and press the "Speak" button, and @TownGirl will give you a response. This is how actions are performed.

• "@Speak" is valid
• "Hello@Speak" is valid
• "@SpeakHello" is invalid due to the lack of space between "Speak" and "Hello". The action will be interpreted as "@SpeakHello" instead of "@Speak"
• "@Speak Hello" is valid
• "Ah@Speak Hello" is valid
